Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormonism) Part 1
Based on the 13 articles of faith of the LDS church (Mormons) I make the first argument. Specifically based on articles 1, 3 and 8 show here:
1. We believe that through the Atonement of Christ, all mankind may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel.
3. We believe that a man must be called of God, by prophecy, and by the laying on of hands by those who are in authority, to preach the Gospel and administer in the ordinances thereof.
8.We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly; we also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God.
Based on my earlier arguments against Christianity, this is already false as it is based on the same doctrine (ultimately, the bible)
To their credit they also believe in allowing people to worship as they wish, recognize the authority of government (unlike Jehovah's Witnesses for example who refuse to recognize anything but God) and in doing good to all, regardless of their beliefs. This doesn't make it a true religion however nice it is.
