Trade Freedom for Security and You'll Get Neither

5 years, 2 wars and hundreds of promises of better security (at the expense of our freedoms) and the U.S. is no safer then it was.
55 illegal immigrants were caught, all of whom were working at ONE airport.
So really all any terrorist needs to do to get on a plane is go to Mexico, sneak into the U.S. pretending to be Mexican, get some fake id and other documents and apply for a job at any place they want to attack. If millions of Mexicans can do it, why not a dozen fairly well-trained and funded terrorists?

On the other hand, there is some news that makes sense regarding (legal) immigrants...
146 of those who joined our military are being granted citizenship. They come from 50 different countries.
